REAL ALES

We have either 3 or 4 real ales on throughout the year. We stock Ridgeway from Tring Brewery (4.0%) as our permanent premium beer. It is well-balanced and has bags of flavour, brewed with English malts and fruity Styrian Goldings hops.

Our other real ales constantly change, with a session ale (under 4.0%) plus a fine selection from 4% upwards, one of which will always be strong, dark and fruity (between 4.6% and 5.5%).

Please note most cask ales are neither gluten-free nor vegan.

REAL CIDERS AND PERRY

We also feature at least one still cider or perry from Real Cider makers, well worth a try. We are recognised by CAMRA for our Real Ciders who thoroughly check the production and provenance of British cider makers.

KEG ON DRAUGHT INCLUDING 3 ALCOHOL-FREE, 7 VEGAN AND 5 GLUTEN-FREE

We’re delighted to have eight offerings from truly independent brewers on tap, 5 of which are gluten-free and 7 of which are vegan. These include the sessionable, smooth, creamy London Black from Anspach & Hobday, Alchemist Lager from Tring, the citrus pale from Renegade called Detour, plus Hooky Original, our sparkling cider made for Hook Norton by Oldfields of Worcestershire.

We have three 0.5% offerings on draught: Nirvana Best Bitter, Lucky Saint lager and Renegade Solo pale ale.

Anspach & Hobday: London Black 4.4% (VN,D)   
A smooth, creamy, easy-drinking nitro porter from this great little brewery in London (Bermondsey, South London)

Hooky Original Cider 4.8% (VN,D,G)   
Beautifully crisp, clean and sparkling medium-dry cider made for Hook Norton by Oldfields (Oxfordshire/ Worcestershire)

Renegade Lager 4.1% (VN,D,G) 
A refreshing, light, crisp lager with a malty backbone (Yattendon, Berkshire)
Tring: Alchemist 4.5% (VN,D)   Bavarian hops and lightly kilned malts make this lager crisp and flavoursome. (Tring, Hertfordshire)

Renegade: Detour pale ale 4.1% (VN,D,G)   
A modern, hop-forward pale ale with notes of grapefruit, citrus and pine but without being too hefty. Very drinkable. (Yattendon, Berkshire)

Lucky Saint Lager 0.5% (VN,D)    
Highly flavoursome for a low alcohol lager, it is dry and refreshing with a citrus hop finish and toasty Pilsner malts. (Marylebone, London)
Nirvana Best Bitter 0.5% (VN,D,G)      
Notes of biscuit, maple syrup and toasted nuts feature in the rich, malty backbone of Maris Otter and Amber malts, complemented by a smooth mouthfeel courtesy of the touch of oats in the grist. A quintissentially English style best bitter. (Leyton, East London)

Renegade: Solo pale ale 0.5% (V,G)   
This beer has plenty of punch as well as a subtle smooth creamy sweetness, thanks to the addition of lactose, making this alcohol-free IPA a firm favourite. Sharp citrus and stone fruits shine through, finishing with a crisp dryness on your palette.  (Yattendon, Berkshire)

BOTTLED BEERS AND CIDERS INCLUDING ALCOHOL-FREE, GLUTEN-FREE AND VEGAN

We stock a selection of bottled ales, lagers and ciders, many of which are vegan and/ or gluten-free.  Our gluten-free range of beers include stouts, bitter and lager from Nirvana Brewery (all alcohol-free) and Renegade's popular session bitter, Good Old Boy (4.0%) in bottles. We always have at least one alcohol-free bottled cider too, and at least one fruit cider in bottles
